Here in Amish Country, the family farm is still very much a part of our landscape, and much of the food we use comes from local farms. You can choose to experience the farm through the comfort of our education center — or from an Amish buggy.

At Green Mill Village, you can see for yourself how the small family farm is making a comeback through cooperative organic farming — and you will also see some products of the future. Our Amish neighbors continue to live the simple life, using horses rather than tractors to plow. Tours of our partner farms and even a meal with an Amish farm family can be arranged for our guests. Day trips are also available to the local wineries we use or the organic processing plant that provides the meat we serve at Green Mill Village.
